General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Corinthos Spencer, played by Laura Wright, is willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for her son, Michael Corinthos, portrayed by Rory Gibson. The investigation into Drew Cain Quartermaine's (Cameron Mathison) shooting is intensifying, and Carly is concerned that Michael might be implicated. 

GH spoilers look at Anna Devane, played by Finola Hughes, and the police are as they are closing in on the murder weapon, which is set to be discovered this week in an unexpected location linked to Michael. Carly's fears are further heightened as she suspects that her son might have truly shot Drew, given his motive and suspicious behavior. Carly is preparing to do whatever it takes to protect Michael, even if it means taking the blame herself.

Spoilers for General Hospital divulge Carly's fears stem from Michael's traumatic past experience in Pentonville where he was sexually assaulted. Michael was previously incarcerated for killing his stepmom, Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Joy Brown). 

More GH spoilers show a warrant leads to a search at Elizabeth Webber's (Rebecca Herbst) house, where the murder weapon is found. The discovery of the weapon at Elizabeth's house is set to raise several questions, given that Michael was at the house shortly before its discovery.
